The Beeswax Equinox and Solstice Spell Candle is a powerful tool for working with the energy of seasonal transitions, manifesting balance, and aligning with nature's cycles. The equinoxes and solstices are the most powerful turning points of the year—moments when the veil is thin, energies shift, and magic is amplified. Whether you're working spells to harness the balanced energy of the equinoxes, tap into the powerful extremes of the solstices, align with seasonal cycles for manifestation, or work magic at these potent threshold moments, this Equinox and Solstice candle helps you connect with the wheel of the year.
In magical practice, the equinoxes represent perfect balance between light and dark, while the solstices represent the peak of light (summer) or dark (winter). Use this candle in spells to work balance magic at the spring or fall equinox, harness the abundant power of the summer solstice, tap into the introspective energy of the winter solstice, or align your magic with the natural rhythms of the earth. The Equinox and Solstice candle is for those who work with the seasons and honor the turning of the wheel.
The Equinox and Solstice candle is perfect for equinox magic when day and night are equal. Use it in spells to manifest balance in all areas of your life, work with the energy of new beginnings (spring equinox), harness the power of gratitude and harvest (fall equinox), or align with the perfect equilibrium between light and dark. The equinoxes are ideal times for balance and transition magic.
Work with this candle during the solstices when light or dark reaches its peak. Use it in spells for abundance and empowerment magic (summer solstice), introspection and renewal work (winter solstice), celebrating the height of your power, or working with extremes and transformations. The solstices are the most powerful days of the year for manifestation.
This candle is excellent for connecting with the wheel of the year. Use it in workings to honor the changing seasons and natural cycles, align your magic with earth's rhythms, work with the specific energy of each season, or celebrate the sacred turning points of the year. Working with seasonal magic keeps you in harmony with nature's power.
Use this candle to work powerful magic at liminal times. Work with it to harness the amplified energy of seasonal transitions, work magic when the veil is thin, manifest intentions at these potent turning points, or set intentions for the season ahead. Equinoxes and solstices are threshold moments when magic is especially powerful.
This Equinox and Solstice candle is available in 10 powerful colors, each bringing its own energy to amplify your specific intention:
Begin by cleansing your sacred space and centering yourself. Write your intention on the petition paper, being specific about what you want to manifest during this season or what balance you seek. Place the petition paper under the fireproof dish or tray.
Dress the Equinox and Solstice candle with Bountiful Blessings Oil, invoking the abundant power of the season. Place the candle on the tray and sprinkle your chosen seasonal herbs around the base of the candle.
Light the candle on the equinox or solstice (or as close to it as possible) and speak your intention aloud. For example: "At this sacred turning of the wheel, I align with nature's power. The season shifts, the energy transforms, and I manifest my intention. As the earth turns, so my magic works. Blessed be this [equinox/solstice] and all it brings." Visualize yourself in harmony with the seasons, your intentions manifesting with the power of this threshold moment.
Let the candle burn completely while it is safe to do so, or extinguish and relight it daily until it's finished. When the spell is complete, respectfully dispose of the spell remains while saying "This spell is complete."
Every candle at Parlour of Wonders is lovingly hand-poured using 100% pure beeswax, creating a superior magical tool that burns cleaner and longer than paraffin alternatives. Our beeswax candles honor the sacred work of bees while providing you with the most potent foundation for your spellwork.
