What You'll Need:
The Spell:
Write your mental influence or ancestral connection intention on the petition paper - what thoughts you wish to influence or what guidance you seek from the ancestors. Place the petition paper under the tray. Dress your skull candle with your chosen oil (Spirit Guide for ancestral connection, or Upper Hand for mental influence and control), anointing it from bottom to top while visualizing your intention manifesting in the mental or spiritual realm. Place the candle on your fireproof dish and sprinkle Mugwort and Wormwood around the base of the candle.
Light your candle and say: "Skull of wisdom, skull of power, work my will in this hour. Thoughts and minds now bend to me, as I will, so shall it be. Ancestors wise, spirits near, bring your guidance, make it clear. Mental power, strong and true, manifest the work I do. Blessed be."
Burn the candle daily while it is safe to do so, focusing on your intention each time you light it. When the spell is complete, respectfully dispose of the spell remains while saying "This spell is complete."
