Yesterday was my "day off" from training and I usually use this day to rest the muscles, giving them time to cure and re-mold stronger and whatnot. But what I also do is practice elemental training these rest days. Out of the 4 elements, water 💦 🌊 is especially associated with the flow of energy, transparency, healing, life, as an energy conductor and is an overall soothing and cooling energy. It also is associated with our emotional self. I tend to practice a water meditation ritual to assist with the healing and nurturing of my body, magick always helps 💫. Your gonna needs a source of water to serve as a focal point of sorts (could be a bowl of water or even a simple glass of water) and I like to focus myself as a wave. I time my breathing with the coming and going of the tides. Let your breath mimic the rhythm of the waves. This is where visualization comes in. I picture water flowing over myself cleansing away
• fatigue
• tension
• stagnant energy
Each exhale I release what no longer needs me. Affirmations are one of my favorites to work with in any type of magick 🌌 I usually say something along the lines of "I am cleansed and renewed, my body and muscles are healing stronger and better" etc., as I focus on the bowl/glass of water. When you are finished thank the water spirits and pour the water onto the earth . This will close the mediation ritual.
