Hey everyone, grand rising and happy June! May this month present many opportunities of personal, financial and spiritual growth 🙏🏽 today's blog of Magick and Fitness will be on ritualized workouts. In this case particularly on using magick to enhance your workout place and physique. I understand this as a combination of focused intention and consistent physical action (sounds a lot like the basics of witchcraft right?) and along with treating the gym or your personal workout space the same way you'd treat a ritually prepared space, casting a circle, the altar space etc.
Before any workout I usually smudge the space with a cinnamon stick and a bundle of dried bay leaves, why? Cinnamon bring success, bay leaves help with manifesting. As I do this I set the intention for that specific workout session (setting intentions is a way of ritualizing your workouts, I recommend doing this on a New Moon and before every workout sesh.) Now I know this obviously can't be done in a gym, so a great way to substitute this is by either smudging yourself or applying oils to your wrists and behind your ears, calling on the success cinnamon brings and the aid bay leaves bring to manifesting your fitness goals.
Another excellent option is smudging and dedicating that workout session to your deity of choice (I recommend any deity associated with transformation and health.) Recite a quick prayer and invoke the deities energy, connect with the energy.
In these ways you can begin to incorporate your craft into your daily training sessions, be more connected and get the best of both worlds 🔮🏋🏽♂️✨
